Glaze King Doughnuts in Asheboro

We live in Florida, but visit my wife's aunt in Ashboro often. While we're there, we like to go to the Glaze King Donuts Shop for the best doughnuts we've ever had! They've got a huge verity of doughnuts, and everything we've had has been way above average. I normally don't care for apple fritters, but their's are different. Their apple fritters are crispy on the outside, coated with a sweet glaze, and a soft sweet apple bread on the inside. Do yourself a favor, and give their doughnuts a try, you'll be happy you did!

This place blows all of the chain donut Maker's out of the water.

As a diehard donut fan I don’t give this review lightly. These are delicious! The fritters are the best, prices are very reasonable, staff was friendly. We live near Winston, but we’ll be back!

Next best thing to Krispy Kreme

This is by far the best donut you can get in Asheboro. The classic raise puts Dunkin and Krispy Kreme to shame. They have a wide variety of donuts as well. Like the buttermilk, and cake donuts of various flavors. The chocolate chip bars are also delicious. They also carry a smorgasbord of other pastries. If you get a chance, this place is a must stop.

I am new to the area and I stopped by today. I got a doughnut, something with a hotdog and jalapenos it it, and a cinnamon roll. They were very good. I highly recommend this place to anyone. The lady was very nice and helpful. I will be coming back!

Absolutely THE BEST donuts! Omg! Every time we have family and friends come in from different states we always get Glaze King Apple Fritters and everything else. They all LOVE IT! The best part about these donuts is they are super FRESH and delectable! They taste the same after two days! The prices are amazing and hopefully stay that way. I would recommend for sure. This place is a gem.

I visit weekly. Always fresh no matter the time of day. and the lady is always pleasant. The coffee is hot and fresh everytime.

The glazed or, "raised" donuts, as they're named here, are an unbelievable bite of heaven; light and fluffy and will melt in your mouth! The Bavarian cream is my husband's favorite and is worth the calories. All of the donuts, apple turnovers, cinnamon rolls, etc. that I have had are outstanding and never give me the indigestion I've gotten from chain store donuts. This place has consistently been a total gem in our little town and I will never buy donuts anywhere else.
